Sunday afternoon, following a narrated tour of downtown Québec City, we were taken to a small shopping mall where Camille Boutet, the gathering chairperson, and his wife Claudette have their Snow Village displayed in one of the store fronts. Their village display sits on 1,400 square feet of space and contains 290 houses, 324 lampposts, more than 900 figurines (people and animals), more than 5,600 trees of all types: fir-trees, maple trees, birch trees, etc, 350 feet of road, 270 feet of fence, and 240 cars, motorcycles, and sleighs.
Setup of this display took 592 hours of work by two people: Camille and Claudette.
Included in the village display tour was lunch which included home-made finger sandwiches, salads, and cake.
Below are some photos of this incredible display.
