Welcome to Teri's Department 56 Community!
My name is Teri and I am a Village-aholic!
My addiction began several years ago while visiting my sister in Virginia for Thanksgiving, where I was immediately taken by the beauty and detail of the pieces in her North Pole display.
The next day, we visited her local Department 56 dealer where all the different villages were on display and where I spent several hours vacillating between them all.
I checked out with a basketful of Department 56 houses and accessories and I have been heavily mortgaged ever since!
My collection includes the Alpine Village, Dickens' Village, and Snow Village.
My obsession led to the creation of this website devoted to you - the village collecting enthusiast.
I invite you to take a look around.
Be sure to check out the upcoming Department 56 events, create a custom history list, download the FREE village checklists to keep track of your growing collection and to use as a handy reference, and search eBay for that hard-to-find piece.
And finally, can you help identify these mystery buildings and accessories? Are these rare and unique Department 56 collectibles or fakes? Is this early Snow Village? Is Route 56 made by Department 56?
If you would like to talk villages, I would love to hear from you!
Happy House Hunting!
